What does Confirmed Opt-In (COI) mean?
The Rapid eNewsletter is a consent, permission based only, e-mail marketing tool. After an address list is imported, you are asked a question, "You have # subscribers who have not been sent an opt-in e-mail. "CLICK HERE" to send opt in e-mail to these subscribers." Click twice, the "CLICK HERE," (shaded blue) and e-mail will be sent out to your subscribers.

Are there any advantages to Web-based CRMs, (Customer Relationship Management), Newsletter and Contact Management software?
Yes, there is! RAPID eNewsletter is a Web-based CRM software tool that integrates contact management with the ability to run an ethical e-mail marketing campaign. Web-based CRMs provide the means to access your customer e-mail list anywhere or anytime and reach them with your message on a desktop computer's Web browser. RAPID eNewsletter is a low-cost way to manage your contacts and an e-mail campaign. RAPID eNewsletter starts at $9.95 an issue/month. Also, the headaches of installing and maintaining software are not there. You can concentrate on your message and sales.

How can I purchase another publisher subscription of the RAPID eNewsletter?
With RAPID eNewsletter, you purchase a package of email send credits. Starting at $19.95 for a package of 2,500 credits. Another benefit of RAPID eNewsletter is that you are only credited for good sends, if an email fails, you are not charged.

Do you have HTML templates for RAPID eNewsletter Publishers to use?
RAPID eNewsletter provides a built-in, easy to use "Custom Layouts" editor and makes many public layout templates available to use. New public layout templates are added every day and are prepared seasonally for any publisher to use.

What type of bounce back handling does RAPID eNewsletter provide?
RAPID eNewsletter will not immediately remove a subscriber from your address list when a bounce occurs. It is logged as an error before it is removed by the system. A scenario that takes place from time to time is an eNewsletter subscriber's e-mail server goes down for a few minutes. The RAPID eNewsletter system will send back five times before an error log is generated. You then have time to call your newsletter subscriber to inquire if an address change has taken place, or you can delete the contact yourself before the system removes it.

What is Spam?
Spam is unsolicited e-mail also known as UCE (Unsolicited Commercial E-mail). By sending e-mail to those requesting to receive it, you are following accepted permission-based e-mail guidelines.

During a day, when are Newsletters delivered?
You set the date and time when Newsletters are delivered, otherwise the default is between 12:00, midnight and 3:00 a.m., cst, (central standard time), nightly.

How secure is my subscriber's address book?
A single user id and password, per publisher can be generated. If the publisher's user id and password are lost, stolen, or forgotten, please contact the administration at info@randomapp.com. Third party security audits are scheduled through out the year, which adds to normal security measures.

How many images can I have in an eNewsletter?
RAPID eNewsletter recommends no more than five images per newsletter. That is for best e-mail practices and a higher percentage of successful deliveries. Our system will not put a lock on the number of images inserted into your newsletter. Our image compression software is state of the art and the most advanced in the industry. But having 5 images or less will enable more of your e-mails to be delivered, to get past the network firewalls.

How many images can I store on RAPID eNewsletter?
Our compression software is state of the art. Start with a high resolution image, 2 megs in size, in gif, jpg, or png format, upload it into the RAPID eNewsletter editor and use it as long as you have a subscription.

How long will my Newsletter be archived?
A newsletter is archived and available as a public web page link, for as long as a publisher's account subscription is active.

If an email address is entered more than once, i.e., a secretary registered several people, will she get the email more than once or will the system filter out duplicates?
The answer is the system will not allow a duplicate email to be sent out. That said, here are two examples. Example 1 If the same person is entered twice with two “different unique” emails and has two “unique” records. Therefore they have two separate records. They will receive two emails, because the system views each record as unique. Example of when two emails will be sent out: Record 1: info@yourcompany.com , John, Smith Record 2: jsmith@yourcompany.com, John, Smith Example 2 How the “dup filter works,” when multiple users have the same email, but different records, one email would be sent out in this case. Example of one email sent out for multiple users/records: Record 1: info@yourcompany.com , John, Smith Record 2: info@yourcompany.com , Jane, Smith Record 3: info@yourcompany.com , Joe, Smith Record 4: info@yourcompany.com , Jacki, Smith

How do I "Clone" or "Copy to New" an archived newsletter, survey or postcard?

What is happening when my browser freezes?

If this is happening in your Firefox browser, navigate to your "Tools" menu and select "Clear Private Data". Select only the "Cache" checkbox.
